Obituary
Tina Lynn Drake was born in Spartanburg, SC, on November 11, 1963, to the late Willie Oscar Drake and the late Louise Gaffney.
She was educated in Spartanburg County schools and graduated from Broome High School. Tina was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cowpens, SC. She loved flowers, pastel colors, floral patterns and pink and white were her favorite colors. Keith Sweat was her favorite R &B artist and the Carolina Panthers was her favorite football team. Tina was a sweet and loving person who loved her family dearly.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her son, Gary Lee Armstrong of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Mary Drake of San Jose, CA; Audrey Drake of Boiling Springs, SC and Keliah (Jefferey) Anderson of Cowpens, SC; brother, Willie Oscar (Hope) Drake, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Tina was preceded in death, along with her parents, by a sister, Anita Drake and a niece, Shakeliah Dewberry.
On Friday, April 14, 2023, Tina left her earthly home to explore the beauty of her heavenly home. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
