Russell Darnell Webster, 26, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on October 29, 2023. He was born on October 16, 1997, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to his loving mother Candace Rodriguez and father Russell Webster.
Russell was a vibrant and outgoing individual who loved music and danced to the beat of his own drum. He was a very polite young man that always said please and thanks with a grateful spirit. He had a magnetic personality and never met a stranger. Russell was known for his exceptional sales skills and his ability to connect with people. He was a true people person and always had a smile on his face.
Russell was filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost, as a young man and was baptized in the precious Name of Jesus at The Cathedral of Praise in Lorain, Ohio. As a little boy when he would go get prayer he would return and pray for each one of his family members with his shared oil.
One of Russell's biggest passions was his love for the Cleveland Browns. He was a devoted fan and cheered for his team with unwavering loyalty. Russell also had a passion for dancing and enjoyed letting loose on the dance floor. He loved to have a good time and brought joy to those around him.
Russell will be joined in heaven with his son Da’ Viere Webster who he loved dearly. He will also be with his great grandparents and a host of other loved ones.
Russell cherished his time spent with his close family and friends. He had a deep bond with his mother, Candace Rodriguez, and his siblings, Trevonte Morman, Victoria Rodriguez-Young and Christopher Rodriguez. His sisters Breanna Webster and Mayla Webster were also very dear to his heart. Before his departure, he lived with his first niece Kailani, his birthday twin niece Kamryn and his mini me nephew, Kingston. He was also a proud uncle to his nieces Harmonie and Melody. Russell also had a special relationship with his grandparents, Bonita Brooks and David Vereen, and his aunts and uncle, Aunt Bea (Bonita) and Uncle Smoke (Darrell Sr.). Auntie ATL (Alicia, Lisa) and Uncle Jay. He also had a very close knit relationship with his cousins Darrell Jr. (Putt), Donovan (Donnie), Elshad (Man-Man) and Baby Ashlyn. Russell has too many aunts, uncles and cousins to name and he loved them all and they loved him.
Russell will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm and friendly nature made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He will be remembered for his love for the Cleveland Browns, contagious laughter, and his love for his family.
May Russell Darnell Webster rest in eternal peace, knowing that he was deeply loved and will be forever missed.
