Obituary

John Earl Stevenson, Jr. was born to Patsie Stephenson and the late John Earl Stevenson, Sr., in Laurens County, on March 16, 1960. He was educated in the Laurens County Schools.

John was a very pleasant person who loved to have fun.  He was most noted for never meeting a stranger. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. John’s favorite show was Andy Griffin and he enjoyed listening to old school music.

He was preceded in death, along with his father, by one sister Tracey Stevenson.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his loving mother Patsie Stephenson; siblings, Edna Stevenson, Burnadette Stevenson, Dometria Stevenson, Betty Ann Burnside, Travis Rice and Corey Stevenson; girlfriend, Deb Johnson; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

On Friday, April 21, 2023, John passed away at his home. His kind and loving spirit will forever be cherished by all who loved and who knew him.
