James O' David Stevens, Sr.
Obituary
James O' David Stevens, Sr. was born on March 27, 1949, to the late Robert Stevens and the late Iren Rhinehart Stevens in Spartanburg County. He attended Carver High school and was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. His favorite color was blue and loved drinking coffee. James had an extremely friendly nature and he never met a stranger.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his daughter, Faye Denise Stevens of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Robert Stevens of Conway, SC, Terry (Jessie Mae) Stevens, Manus Stevens, and Timothy Stevens all of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Randy Stevens, Kenyatta Miller, Krishenna Stevens, Kayla Beatty, and Jakeisha K. Stevens; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
James was preceded in death, along with his parents, by daughters, Cynthia Stevens and Francis Stevens; son, James O’David Stevens, Jr.; brothers, Alfred Stevens and William Earl Stevens; sister, Iris Means; and granddaughter, Madison Ferguson.
On Monday, April 11, 2022, James transitioned peacefully at the Spartanburg Medical Center Mary Black Campus. His friendly manner and loveable spirit will forever be remembered.
