Isabell (Jackson) Ellison

Isabell Jackson Ellison was born on November 29, 1949, to the both late Wilbert and Birdie Lee Jackson, in Spartanburg, SC, and was educated in the Spartanburg County Schools.

Isabell was a lady of simplicity, nonetheless she loved the sight of bright, vivid and vibrant colors. She enjoyed playing bingo and card games. She was especially close to her sisters.

She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by a sister, Dorothy Cleveland.

Isabell leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her only daughter, Alberta (Stanley, Sr.) Rogers of Moore, SC; brothers, Alfred (Patsy) Jackson of Spartanburg, SC, Willie Jackson of Charlotte, NC, and Clarence (Sue) Jackson of Alexandria, VA; sisters, Susie Mae Ellis and Lillie Briggs both of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Sandra (Stephen) Thomas of Culpeper, VA, Stanley (Jessica) Rogers, Jr. of Orangeburg, SC, Stinson Rogers of Washington, DC, Stuart (Jessica) Rogers of Spartanburg, SC, and Steadman Rogers of Columbia, SC; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Lashonda, Julianna, Alezsandra, Julian, Tilore, Ryan, Cali Grace, Mason, Stanley III, Benjamin, and Titus; a loving companion, Crawford Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

 On Friday June 16, 2023, Isabell peacefully transitioned. Her gentle spirt will always be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
