Ms. Fairy Sue Prince was born on August 23, 1919, to the late Deanna Parks Prince and the late Calvin Andrus Prince, in Spartanburg, SC. She was educated in the Spartanburg County School system. She previously worked at Mobile Meals and Jonathan Logan Sportswear. She was the Church Mother of the First Worship Church, where she also served as a member of the ushers, senior choir, sisters in spirit (known as Guiding Light), Diamond Society, stewardess, and Cub Scout leader.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her daughters, Princie Lee Prince Campbell of Baltimore, MD and Rachel Verlinda Prince Anderson of the home; son, Henry Calvin Prince of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Raymond Thompson, Valkim Johnson, Quinton Prince, Devin Moultrie, Tameka Moultrie, Raicynda Mobley, Shayla Moultrie, and Afra Moultrie; twenty great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her sisters Lillian Miles and Maggie Lee Littlejohn.
On Sunday, February 13, 2022, Ms. Fairy, after one hundred and two years of service here on earth, was promoted to heaven to receive her crown. Her legacy of love, charity, and joy will forever be embodied in the life of her descendants. We give God praise for a life well lived and a journey completed.
