Edna Earle (Oglesby) Johnson

Edna Earle Oglesby Johnson, 80, of Boiling Springs, SC passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 while in the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center’s Mary Black Campus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Dr. Samuel Mason Johnson; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. R.G. and Vertie Mae Oglesby;her sisters, Mrs. Clara M. Palmer and Mrs. Martha L. Haywood;brothers, Mr. John H. Oglesby and Mr. Richard Buford Haywood; and two great-granddaughters.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her children, Miss Tawane Johnson of the home, Mr. Samuel Vincent (Jacqueline)Johnson of Gaffney, SC and Ms. Sheila Yvett Johnson of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Miss Monica Shireta Johnson of Clinton, SC, Mr. Vincent Maurice Johnson of Greenwood, SC, Mr. Brian Jairus (Kerisha)Black of Powder Springs, GA and Mr. Daniel Lamar Black of Wellford, SC; 10 Great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Judy Wilkins of Charlotte, NC andMrs. Mary Means of Spartanburg, SC; brothers Mr. Lewis(Corrie) Oglesby of Spartanburg, SC, Mr. Lewis Haywood of Spartanburg, SC, and Mr. Robert Haywood of Spartanburg, SC;aunts, Mrs. Willie Mae Simpson, Mrs. Elizabeth Meadows, Mrs. Naomi (Wallace) Hardy, Ms. Pauline Artis and Mrs. Mary Helen Oglesby; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mattie L. (Bobby) Cates, Mrs. Gracie Smith and Mrs. Mary (Josh, Sr.) Singleton; brother-in-law, Mr. John W.
