Curtis Lee Brannon of Inman, SC was born in Union County on March 27, 1949, to the late Augusta Brannon. He retired from Kohler Company and Engineered Products. After retiring, he continued to work in various other jobs.
Curtis was a man of great faith and wisdom. He enjoyed doing yard work and gathering with family and friends.
Those left to cherish loving memories are daughters, Iris L. Brannon of Spartanburg, SC, Angel L. Brannon of Inman, SC, and Crystalen Gault of Union, SC; grandchildren, Shouroun Gardner, TeQuez Knight, Se’Vinn Mullins, and Corneilus Brown; great-grandchildren, Jaiden Coates, TeQuez Knight, Jr., Niquez Brown and Jamaiyah Brown; brothers, Willie (Diane) of Gaffney, SC and Griffith Alonzo Brannon of Jonesville, SC; sisters, Betty Gladden of Jonesville, SC, Hazel Smith of Cowpens, SC and Pearline(Billy, Sr.) Murphy of Spartanburg, SC; a special aunt, Alma Glenn of Union, SC; aunt, Willie M. Bradley of Bowie, MD; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine G. Brannon; brothers, Douglas Brannon, Sr. and Darelyn Brannon; and sister, Hettie Mae Hopkins.
On June 11, 2022. the full life of Mr. Curtis Lee Brannon came to a close as he fulfilled the embodiment of his motto, “A man that’s scared to die has never lived”.
