Cathy Williams

Cathy Maureen Williams was born January 1, 1961, to late Marion Douglas Williams and the late Margaret Elizabeth Faucett Williams, in Spartanburg, SC. She was educated in Spartanburg County schools.

Cathy was noted for having a heart of gold, while also being a loner.  She also had a matter-of-fact attitude.  In her spare time Cathy enjoyed baking, fishing, sewing and keeping up the maintenance on her aquarium.

The Kansas City Chief was her favorite NFL football team and her favorite color was green. She also attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.

She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by sister, Georgia Mae Suber, special friend, Jame A. Anderson, and son-in-law, Quinton Roseburg.

Cathy leaves her love and memories to son, Travis Antonio Richardson, Jr.; daughters, Laronda (Don) Charles and  Kenya Rosburg both of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Robert (Charlie) Faucett of Rock Hill, SC, Danny Williams of Spartanburg, SC, John (Kimberly) Williams of Brandywine, MD, and Wade McCullough of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Theresa (Dwight) Hackett of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Travalas Massey, Mykeria Massey, Quentasia Roseburgh, Qyamesha Roseburg, Quantis Roseburg, Travis Richardson, Jr.,  Raven Walker, Evin Richardson, Tiheim Richardson, Amilyan  Richardson, Jalen Hill, Jada Landrum, and Kendric Landrum; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Monday, February 26, 2024, Cathy transitioned peacefully at the Spartanburg Medical Center. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
