Ashlon Quinton Fields, affectionately known as “Ash”, was born on August 28, 2005, to Joni Watson and Ashely Fields, in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in Spartanburg County school and was a 2023 graduate of Spartanburg High School. Ashlon was previously employed at Ingles as a cashier.
Ashlon had a very comical, but blunt personality. He always had a smile on his face and was extremely humble. He had a mean streak and was sometimes annoying, but his presence would light up a room. In his spare time, he enjoyed welding and watching football and basketball. His favorite colors were green and black.
Ashlon was preceded in death by a sister, Lamia Candace Hoey and grandfathers, Eddie D. Watson and Ashley Fields.
Left to cherish and honor his memories are his loving mother, Joni Watson of the home; father, Ashley Fields of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Destine. Fields and Anariya Fields both of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Tamon Z. Reed and Ashley Tiquan Fields both of Spartanburg, SC; grandmothers, Karen Watson “G Ma” and Carolyn “Grandma C” Gary both of Spartanburg, SC; great-grandmother, Jessie Mae Watson of Spartanburg, SC; aunts, Jessica McKinney of Spartanburg, SC, Nichelle Alston-Daniels of Taylors, SC, Crystal Ross of Spartanburg, SC, Deborah Smith of Spartanburg, SC; and Angela Fields of Inman, SC; uncles, Kareem A. (Nicole Martinez) Moss of Spartanburg, SC, Zakaria A. (Sonya) Watson of Boiling Spring, SC, Ernest Street of Spartanburg, SC and Slamarcus A. (Tiffany Cohen) Watson of Spartanburg, SC; extended brothers and sisters and a host cousins, other relatives, and friends.
On the Afternoon of Saturday, November 18, 2023, Ashlon’s brief and impactful life came to a close. His beautiful smile and comedic spirit will live on in the hearts, minds, and thoughts of all who knew and loved him.
