Mr. Walter Perry Haney, Jr. was born to the late Narvis Williams Haney and the late Walter Perry Haney, Sr. on July 8, 1962, in Spartanburg, SC.  He attended Spartanburg County schools and graduated from Carver High School.

Those who knew him referred to him as "Perry".  He was employed at Ray's Vacuum & Sewing Center as a Repairman.  Walter's favorite things to do were fishing, watching and attending Nascar Racing, and Antique Car shows.

Those left to cherish his memories are daughters, Sharon Long, Tanasha Petty and Adrianna Petty all of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a lifelong friend, Kristy Atkins of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased, along with his parents, by a brother, Ricky Williams.

Mr. Walter Perry Haney, Jr. heard the master's call on October 24, 2022.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
