Videl Lamont Williams, affectionately known as "Dell", was born on March 15, 1973, to Mattie Pearl Tate Williams and Cephus Williams, Jr., in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in Spartanburg County schools.
Videl had an endearing love for his wife and children. He was noted as being extremely family oriented and enjoyed watching football. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. In his spare time he enjoyed going on vacations, especially to New York.
Videl was the owner and operator of Imperial Specialty Services LLC. His favorite football team was the New York Giants and his favorite colors were blue and gray. He attended Monks Grove Baptist Church.
Videl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lizzie and OP Tate and Cephus and Irene Williams.
Left to treasure his loving memory includes his loving wife, Debra Williams of the home; sons, DelQuris Williams, Noreya Williams, and Frederick (Bri Woodruff) Wilson, Jr. all of Spartanburg, SC; daughters, Kearia Williams of the home, Rodnaisha Beatty of Spartanburg, SC, Makayla Logan of Charlotte, NC, Vyesah Williams of Spartanburg, SC and Armani Riley of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Carlos (Alicia) Williams and Cephus Williams both of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Cephina (Nathan, Jr.) Harris; grandchildren, Delziya Williams, DelQuris Williams, Jr., Delyonna Williams, Zabrian Roland, III, Naya Beatty, Jam 'Mir Gladden, Briar Wilson, and Fredrick Wilson, III; mother-in-law, Lois (Wayne Hawes) Stripling; brother-in-law, Clifford Stripling, Jr.; sister-in-law, Linda (James) Smith; and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, Videl transitioned at his home. His loving spirit will be forever cherished by his family and friends.
