IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Vencient Darron
Lynch
December 16, 1968 – April 25, 2025
Vencient A. Lynch, a devoted husband, loving father, and loyal friend, passed away surrounded by the family he cherished so deeply. A man of unwavering gratitude, strength, and warmth, Vencient lived his life with no regrets, embracing every moment and leaving a legacy of love and storytelling behind.
He was born to the union of Clyde Lynch, Jr and Alma Lee Jones-Lynch. Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Vencient attended Dorman High School, where he cultivated his lifelong passion for sports. A true fan at heart, he especially loved cheering on the New York Yankees and the Duke Blue Devils, teams that brought him countless moments of joy. Known for his gift of storytelling, Vencient captivated family and friends alike with tales that reflected his vibrant spirit and sharp sense of humor. His greatest joy was being surrounded by his loved ones and creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Vencient was preceded in death by Clyde Lynch, Jr., his father and Venecia Lynch, his daughter — a loss he carried in his heart with quiet strength. Vencient's memories will be forever cherished by the love of his life, his wife, Carri Jones-Lynch; their son, Aaron, five daughters, Venetta Jones of Marietta, GA, Takisha Walker of Spartanburg, SC, Jessa Davidson of Gaffney, SC; one sister, Linda Lynch-Rookard of Spartanburg, SC; four brothers, Gerald Brook of Johntown, PA, Anthony Lynch & Cartez Lynch both of Spartanburg, SC, and Lothario (Lakeya) Lynch of Boiling Springs, SC; granddaughters, Viniya, Varrie and Tianna; grandsons, Keyshawn and Vision; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Vencient's life was a testament to love, resilience, and gratitude. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to live on.
