Travis Donte` Peay was born on July 22, 1985, to Roland Epps, Sr., and Letitia Peay Freeman in Baltimore, Maryland. He was reared during his youth by his loving grandmother Mary L. Peay.
Travis was dedicated to Christ on November 1, 1992, at the New Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Roosevelt Davenport. Throughout his childhood, he was taught to love the Lord. He attended yearly vacation bible school, Sunday school, sang on the Gospel Workshop, and became a member of the Royal Ambassadors, a subsidiary of the United Baptist Missionary Convention of Maryland, Inc.
Travis received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System and displayed athletic talents playing football and lacrosse. He received his high school diploma from the Dr. W.E.B. DuBois High School in June of 2003. Shortly after graduating, he transitioned to Greenville, SC to begin his journey as a young man. Travis was employed as a corrections officer at Perry Correctional Facility for nearly ten years before taking medical retirement. Hobbies that Travis enjoyed included cheering on his beloved Baltimore Ravens NFL team, unloading rounds at the gun range, listening to 90's hip hop, an especially northern-based artist like The Lox and DMX, and vacationing at the beach. His most beloved pastime was spending time with his wife and children.
