Torre Mikheal Johnson, affectionately known as "Skipper", was born on January 4, 1986, to Florence Hardy and the late Juan Wannamaker, in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in Spartanburg County schools.

Torre was extremely comical and humorous. He displayed a kind, helpful and giving heart. He always exuded positivity and was innately motivational. If you were down and came in his presence, he would instantly cheer you up. Torre loved music and was a Keisha Cole and The Brat fan. His favorite color was blue.

He was preceded in death, along with his father, by brothers, Trince Hardy "Boss" and Terrance Wilkins; maternal grandparents, Leroy Johnson and Florence Johnson; and aunt, Hattie M. Tracy.

He leaves behind, in addition to his mother, brothers, Taiwan Hardy and Juan Foster both of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Earlynda Johnson of Carlisle, SC and LaQuinta Johnson of Duncan, SC; paternal grandmother, Josie Hill of Pacolet, SC;  aunts, Earlean Norris, Minnie L. McCollum, and Martha A. McCollum all of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 20, 2024, Torre transitioned peacefully at his home. He will be missed sorely by his family and friends.
