Ta'Mia Shanea Smith

Ta’Mia Smith of Greenville SC entered eternal rest on Friday August 21st, 2026. Born in Spartanburg SC. Ta’Mia was the daughter of Mr. Timothy Smith and the late Myrtle Smith.

Ta’Mia Smith (Mia) was a beautiful, intelligent, and loving woman whose life was deeply rooted in her love for her children and family. She possessed a brilliant mind, a caring heart, and a determination that allowed her to accomplish much throughout her life.

Ta’Mia is lovingly survived by her four children, Kameron and Timothy Elijah Meadows of the home, Raegan Meadows (Laylinn granddaughter) of Simpsonville SC, Marley Meadows of Greenville SC; and one sister Keisha Black of Charlotte NC; two brothers Timothy Smith of South Carolina & Jimmy Peeler of South Carolina.

She was cherished by a large family of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, extended relatives and dear friends including Terrence Meadows and the entire Meadows family.

Ta’Mia dedicated herself professionally to caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Nursing was more than a career; it demonstrated her intelligence, compassion, strength, and willingness to serve people during some of the moments when they needed care the most.

Her family will remember much more than what Ta’Mia accomplished. They will remember who she was-as a daughter a mother, a sister, a nurse and a woman who loved her family dearly.
