Shelia Ann Worthy was born to the late Sarah Carter Worthy and the late Angus Worthy in Union, SC.  She was a graduate of Cowpens High School's class of 1971.

Her favorite past-times were reading and working word puzzles; her favorite TV shows were The Price is Right, all soap operas, and wrestling.  She had a very nice personality and was the sweetest woman in the world.

She leaves fond and loving memories to a son, Cornelius Worthy of Spartanburg; a daughter, Sherry Worthy of Spartanburg; a sister, Patricia Worthy Mitchell of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Mackayle Miller, Shay Worthy, Na'Zyria Worthy, and Tahjari Worthy; a great-grandchild, Melani Miller; five sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Shelia was predeceased, along with her parents, by siblings, Evelyn Wilburn, Bobby Worthy, Billy Worthy, Jimmy Worthy, Lee Worthy, Sarah Geter, Peggy Ann Prater, and Tommy Worthy.

Shelia Ann Worthy entered eternal rest on October 25, 2022.  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
