Shawn Dewayne Miller, affectionately known as "Big", was born on July 14, 1985, to Anna L. Jeter and the late Lester Lee Hollis, in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in the Spartanburg County Schools. Shawn was employed with Draxlmaier USA as a line operator.
Shawn had a talkative and loving personality. His most notable trait was his enormous heart and generous spirit. He would "give the shirt off his back" if someone was in need. In his spare time he enjoyed watching Blue Bloods. He was a Carolina Panthers fan and his favorite color was blue. Shawn was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death, along with his father, by brother, Lee Jamaal Miller.
Left to honor and cherish his life and spirit include his mother, Anna Jeter of the home; twin sister, Shana (Antonio) Rainey of Spartanburg, SC; fiancé Ciara Boozer of Spartanburg, SC; aunts, Bessie (Frank) Holmes, Carolyn Harris, Reverend Geneva Byrd, and Katie Shippy all of Spartanburg, SC; uncle, Daniel (Teresa) Miller of Spartanburg, SC; niece, Ana Miller; nephews, Jamarius Miller Lee Miller, Jr., Kingston Miller, and Malcolm Miller; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Shawn transitioned, after a brief illness, on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Spartanburg, Regional Hospice Home. His generous and kind heart will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
