Ms. Rosylind Kay Garrett was born, on June 17, 1958, to Ethel Louise Mills Lynch and the late James William Lynch, in Spartanburg, SC. She was educated in Spartanburg County schools.
Rosylind was an amazing woman and was noted for being selfless. She had a kind and loving spirit and enjoyed caring for others. Rosylind was an amazing cook and often could be found solving puzzles of all kinds. She was a member of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church. Rosylind's favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys and her favorite color was red.
Rosylind was preceded in death, along with her father, by brothers Robert A. Lynch and Warren Lynch.
She leaves to cherish her love and legacy to daughters, Squitia (Carl) Parris of White Plains, NY, Cynthia Lynch and Latoria Garrett both of Spartanburg, SC; son, Marcus Lynch of Spartanburg, SC; five brothers; six sisters; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; godson, Renaldo Pollard, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
On the evening of Thursday, September 7, 2023, Rosylind's life on Earth came to a close. Her loving, kind, and selfless spirit will be treasured by her family and friends.
