Robert Lee Walker, aka "Bay", was born on December 13, 1945, in Spartanburg, SC to the late General and late Roberta Smith Walker, in Spartanburg, SC. He attended schools in Spartanburg County and was a construction contractor. Robert enjoyed playing baseball and in latter years, took pleasure in watching the game be played.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Edna Vanell Martin of the home, Brittni Martin and Brianna Martin both of Spartanburg, SC; a special nephew, Timothy Tolliver of the home; a brother, Pastor Bobby Cohen of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Rodney Harris, Fredrick (Chanel) Harris, Demetra Harris, Kendall Martin, Trinity Sinclair, Ahlona Sinclair, Damarcio Riley, and Nautica Martin; great grandchildren, Sherami Harris, Rodney Harris, Jr., Rahjai Harris, Shaniah Harris, Chanin Harris, Monashia Cheeks, Nevaeh Martin, Caiyou Harris, Kendall Martin, Jr., Crimson Harris, Aunnah Cheeks, and Mckenzie Harris; a great-great grandchild, Emory Harris; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene Walker, Gerald Walker, Melton Walker and Milton Walker; a great granddaughter, Nyleah Harris; and an aunt, Nora Smith.

On Monday, November 14, 2022, Robert Lee "Bay" Walker peacefully transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home.
