IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ricky Louis
Cummings
February 7, 1962 – June 4, 2024
Ricky was born February 7, 1962, in Holly Hills, SC to Rudolph Stephens and the late Sheila Cummings. He was loved and adored by his friends and loved ones. He always strived to help everyone, whether he just met you or had known you for a lifetime.
Ricky worked various jobs from Chapman Concrete (Spartanburg, SC), Carolina By-products (Kings Mountain, NC) and R-Max (Greer, SC), to name a few. But his pride and joy was owning his own business, ABC Lawn Care. His lawn service was how he connected and ministered to people along the way.
Ricky believed in the four "Fs", Family, Friends, Food, and FISHING. These things gave him the most joy in life. Making sure his family was taken care of drove his spirit. To see his family smile and laugh would feed his soul and keep him going. He always kept in touch with friends and family, daily or weekly. Ricky loved to cook and would often offer an invitation to others for a hot meal.
He was preceded in death, along with his mother, by a sister, Shirley Gist.
Left to cherish all of the loving memories are: his wife, Barbara Ann Cummings of the home; children, Dexter (Molly) McCray of Fort Wayne, IN, Latoyia Summey (Kevin Rhodes) of Inman, SC, Jervan Cummings (Natassia Griffen) of Gaffney, SC, Bre'auna (Jacob) Brown of Boiling Springs, SC, Cierra Cummings (Donnie Watkins) of Spartanburg, SC and Kenan Summey (Hailey Seidling) of Boiling Springs, SC; two special sons, Brian Wingo and Jacob McGahee of Boiling Springs, SC; one aunt, Lottie Davis; brothers and sisters, Rosemary Blocker of Spartanburg, SC, Maxine Kelly of Chicago, IL, Jo-Ann Blocker of Aiken, SC, Dell Blocker of Spartanburg, SC, Mack Blocker, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC, Juanita Brown of Columbia, SC, Anthony Stephens of Columbia, SC, Rudean (Tyronne) Spears of Cayce, SC, Altonia Stephens of Columbia, SC, Rudolph Stephens, Jr. of West Columbia, SC, Vernell (Bobby) Watson of Holly Hill, SC, Brian (Angie) Stephens of Lexington, SC.
