Paul Roland Crook was born, on August 16, 1958, to the late Joseph Earl Crook, Sr. and the late Frances Wimberly Crook, in Woodruff, SC. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. Paul enlisted in the United States Army and served our great country for several years. He later continued his education and was certified in plumbing.

Paul was the owner and operator of Ace # 1 Plumbing & Backhoe Service. He worked in plumbing and operating heavy machinery for over thirty years.

Paul was noted for having a huge heart.  He would do anything for anybody. Paul would often provide services for a fraction of the cost because of kind nature. He was a member of the Morningside Baptist Church and his favorite color was blue.

Paul was preceded in death, along with his parents, by brother, Joseph Earl Crook, Jr. and wife, Patricia Garrett.

His memory will be cherished by his loving companion, Morgan Bruner of the home; daughter, Angel Crook (Leroy) Pruitt of Spartanburg SC; granddaughter, Carmen Pruitt of Spartanburg, SC; extended families, Tinsley and Bruner; and a host of clients and friends.

On the morning of Friday, August 4, 2023, Paul transitioned at his home. His kind and generous spirit will sorely be missed by all who knew him.
