Norman Jean Bell affectionately known as "Pookie", was born on December 8, 1960 to the late Marshall and the late Anna Bell in Spartanburg, SC. She was educated in the Spartanburg County Schools. She was a resident at the Mountain View Nursing Home and because of her friendly nature made many friends.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her sons, Detriech Herve Bell of Columbia, SC; Jonathan Meschach Bell of Pittsburg, PA; siblings, Dianne Twitty , Vennie Griffin, Alice Long, Kenan Christina Bell, Vera Bell(James "Jay') Bonds; friend, Johnny Brannon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Norma transitioned on Sunday, April 30, 2023. Her life and legacy will be treasured by all who knew her.
