Minnie Lee Morings was born on September 15, 1929, to the late Jim Pearson and the late Leila James, in Spartanburg, SC. She was a member of United Temples of Praise Church and was the church mother.

Minnie loved the Lord with all of her heart and loved to sing. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed preparing delectable meals for her family. Minnie had a very comical spirit and a warm and welcoming heart. She was often found telling stories of her past and giving wise counsel. She had a special place in her heart for her church and pastor, Overseer Kenneth Dawkins, Jr..

Minnie was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her daughter, Jennie Pearson; sister, Flozenia Pearson; and nephew, Johnny Lee Pearson.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her daughters, Leila Ferguson of Spartanburg, SC and Loreena Miller of Wellford, SC; son, William (Katherine) Moring of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a host of great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On the morning of Sunday, May 21, 2023, Minnie transitioned to be home with her loving Savior. She is now resting from her labor and has received her "Well Done". Her comical and loving spirit will be missed and forever cherished. We give God praise for her life.
