IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Minister Eric
Talley
June 14, 1974 – September 18, 2023
Minister Eric Talley was born, on June 14, 1974, to the late Diana Talley and the late Herbert Rogers, in Union, SC. He was a 1994 graduate of Jonesville High School. Eric was also his class president. He went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Limestone College.
In high school he was a part of the marching band and played the tuba. He loved music and the band. He went on to become the drum major and that was one of his life's highlights, achieving that honor.
Minister Eric was called to the ministry and loved ministering to others. He was talkative and didn't meet a stranger. He had a joyful personality, and it was infectious to all who encountered him. Eric was a former member of Bountiful Blessings Church and a current member of Chambertown Community Lighthouse Church of Union, SC.
Minister Eric was preceded in death, along with his parents, by grandparents, Saul Talley and Mandiana Talley.
Minister Eric leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories to his daughter, Mantasia Nicole Eison of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Kim Jackson of Boiling Springs, SC; aunts, Minister Veronica (Troy) Clark of Spartanburg, SC, Elizabeth (Roy) Pendergraph of Spartanburg, SC, Lethia (Cleve) Brannon of Jonesville, SC, Geneva Worthy of Spartanburg, SC, Lethia Talley and Bridgette Talley both of Union, SC; uncle, Saul Talley, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; special cousins, Bryan Talley and James Jeter both of the home and Karen Talley; reared in the home, Donni Eison, Stacy Valetine, and Terry Talley; goddaughter, Serenity Valentine; special friend, Andrew Miller; and a host of other family and friends.
On Monday, September 19, 2023, Minister Eric Talley stuck his sword into the sands of time and went home to be with the Lord. His victorious life will be a treasured keepsake to his family and friends. We thank God for his life and journey.
