Mikhail'Lee Adonis
Smith
December 12, 2017 – April 12, 2026
Mikhail’Lee Adonis Smith, affectionately known as “Khail,” was born on December 12, 2017, to Nikkita Christopher and Marico Smith, in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He was a student at Meeting Street Academy.
Khail was a bright and spirited child whose presence brought joy to all who knew him. He enjoyed playing his PS4 and basketball. He dearly loved his dog, KJ, and found great joy in TikTok and YouTube. In his younger years, he loved watching Bluey. Khail aspired to become a rapper, and his vibrant personality, radiant smile, and friendly spirit could light up any room. He loved making new friends and was a proud Minnesota Vikings fan. His favorite colors were red and blue and was also a member of the Boys and Girls Club.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harold Greer, and his maternal grandmother, Lorraine Pence.
Left to cherish and honor his precious life, along with his parents, are his siblings, Makayla Smith of Duncan, South Carolina, Monterius Smith of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Letecia Bridges of Cowpens, South Carolina, Christorpher Pack, Channing Garcia, Alexis Turner, and Justice Deal, all of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and James (Idalia) McDowell of Easley, South Carolina. He also leaves to cherish his memory his grandparents, Marian Smith, Wellford of SC, Gwendolyn Livingston of Greer, South Carolina, and Ronald Lee Pence of Kentucky. His memory will also be treasured by his aunts, Jacosha (James) Hull-Kilgore of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Danisa Lyles of Duncan, South Carolina, Felicia Carson of Mauldin, South Carolina, Erica Wadi of Cherokee, North Carolina, Beverly Rojas of Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Felicia Wadi of Cherokee, North Carolina; his uncles, Rashad Carson of Virginia, Jamar Irby of Greenville, South Carolina, and Thomas Collins of Spartanburg, South Carolina; along with a host of other relatives, classmates, teachers, and friends.
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, Mikhail’Lee’s life came to a close. Though his passing was far too soon for our minds and hearts to understand, we rest in the assurance of God’s divine plan.
