Marshall Tate was born, on March 12, 1958, to the late Devada White and the late Willie Tate, in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in Spartanburg County schools. Marshall enjoyed talking with the fellas in his spare time.  His favorite colors were blue and gray.  He was partial to baseball.

He leaves his memory and legacy to his brother Jerry (Cecelia) McIntyre of Boiling Springs, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Friday, November 15, 2024, Marshall transited at his home. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
