Mark Allen was born on July 21, 1979, to the late Roosevelt Murphy and the late Virginia Viola Allen, in Spartanburg, SC. He was an automobile enthusiast. He was a loving and devoted father.Mark was very sociable and enjoyed listening to hip hop music. He was an avid San Frisco 49ers fan.

Mark practiced the Muslim faith.

He was preceded in death, along with his parents, by siblings, Kathy Allen, Joan Allen, and David Allen; and nephews, Corey Allen and Michael Allen.

Left to cherish his fond and loving memories include son, Mark Allen, Jr. of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Khloe Bella Viola Allen of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Steven Allen of Modesto, CA, Roy Allen and Scottie Allen both of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Barbara McCravy of Spartanburg, SC, Louise Allen of Spartanburg, SC, Rita Varner of Spartanburg, SC, Yolanda Boyd of Spartanburg, SC, Sophia Allen of Charlotte, NC and Jacqueline Allen of Spartanburg, SC; aunt, Sylvenne Samuel of Spartanburg, SC; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Saturday, April 6, 2024, Mark transitioned at his home. His spirit will forever be loved and cherished by his family and friends.
