Marilyn Bradford

Marilyn Bradford was born March 15, 1937, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Andrew Martin Neely and the Late Luevina Pinson Neely. On July 13, 2026, she peacefully departed this earthly life and entered her heavenly home.

Marilyn was a woman of unwavering faith and selflessness. She loved God and her family with all her heart and lived a life that reflected His love and grace. She was ready to  go home and be with her lord and savior.

Marilyn graduated from Lincoln High School’s class of 1955. She retired from Mayfair Mills and later retired from Motel 8. She was a member of Believers’ Fellowship Assemblies of God, in Spartanburg, SC.

She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by husband, Calvin Bradford, Sr.; sisters, Bernice McCravy and Mary Kelly Walker; brothers, Eugene Neely and Andrew Rufus Neely.

Marilyn leaves to cherish her memory her children, Carolyn Ann (Ronald) Scott of Spartanburg, SC, Karen Braford of Jacksonville, FL, Calvin (Regina) Bradford, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, and Cheryl Nash of Lyman, SC; grandchildren, Michael (Amanda) Scott, Cleo Styles, Calvin Nesbitt, Shular Nesbitt, DeAnne (Antoine) Manigan, Tyrell White, Tyrone (Kendal) Bradford, Whitney (Jonathan) Secrist, Candice Bradford, Avery Bradford, Lily Bradford, and Jackson Bradford; and a  host of great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters, Annie Ruth Anderson of Spartanburg, SC and Dorothy Rice of Greenville, SC; sister-in-law, Dorothy Bradford; friends of the family, Frankie and Cheryl Sexton; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Marilyn’s life was filled with faith, love, and loving correction. Though she will be deeply missed her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she is now resting in the presence of God.
