Mrs. Margaret Ann Anderson was born on June 4, 1958, to the late JD Johnson and the late Elisabeth Ann Dunlap, in Spartanburg, SC. She graduated from Spartanburg High School.

Margaret enjoyed singing and loved to cook. She had a very open mind and heart.  The younger generation gravitated to her loving spirit, and she was a Washington Commanders fan. She was a faithful member of Community Bible Believers church where she served on the young adult choir.

Her legacy will be treasured by her loving husband, Stanford Anderson; sons,  Stanford Johnson and Kenneth Johnson both of Spartanburg, SC; daughter, Linda (Stephen Bennett) Lindsay of Spartanburg, SC; brothers, Willie Earl Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Franklin Johnson all of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Otha (Henry Smith) Landrum and Cathy Johnson both of Spartanburg, SC; aunts, Betty (Willie Lee " Red") Johnson of Woodruff, SC and Johnnie Mae Roger of Greer, SC; uncles, Gentle (Linda) Johnson of Greer, SC, Earnest (Linda Ann) Johnson of Wellford, SC and Charlie (Angela) Johnson of Woodruff, SC; 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

On Wednesday, June 14, 2023, Margaret joined the heavenly choir to sing His praises for evermore. Though her physical presence will be missed, her loving spirit will linger in the hearts of those who loved and knew her.
