Obituary

Mandia Louise Nash was born on July 11, 1932, in Pauline, SC, to the late Elmore Nash and Mandia Murphy Nash. She was educated in the Spartanburg County school system.  Mandia was known for being a firecracker and

speaking her mind. Mandia was a domestic engineer for the Hammond family for many years.

She was member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Glenn Springs where she was a former president of the usher board. She was also a member of MBS #12 were she served as president.

Mandia was preceded in death, along with parents, by sisters, Hettie Nash, Bessie Lee Nash, Antonia Nash, Isabella Sawyer, Ethel Gist, Roberta Giles, and Ophelia Caree; brothers, Victor Nash, Jr., George Nash, Tom Nash, Napoleon Nash, Hamp Nashad, and Robert Nash.

On the afternoon of Saturday, May 27, 2023, Mandia transitioned at the Inman Healthcare. Her feisty spirit will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
