Mr. Larnell Gardner was born to Nora Hines Gardner and Garnell Gardner, on December 31, 1953, in Landrum, SC.  He was educated in Landrum schools.  His favorite color was black.  Larnell was a member of the National Guard.

Larnell's favorite pastimes were reading, collecting model cars, listening to old-school R&B music, and cooking "greasy Burgers".  He liked to have fun and was a people person who never met a stranger.   The love he felt for his grandchildren was special and unmeasurable.  He had a special love for his past fur babies, Rusty and Lady.

Predeceased, along with his parents, is a son, Learneal Gardner.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his son, Shouron Gardner of Spartanburg; daughters,  Vera Michele (John Gibson) Smith, Jennifer (Henry Jackson) Smith and Victoria Smith all of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Larnell Gardner left his earthly home on June 20, 2024.  His family and friends will miss him dearly.
