Kenneth Edward Jones "Big Daddy" was born on January 8, 1950, in Detroit, MI to the late Ulysses Jones and Lillian Mae Craig. He was wed to the former Christina Langster and from their union four children were born.

Kenneth was an overall great person. He was a doting husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He was the quintessential protector and provider; he ensured his family lacked nothing. Kenneth was known as  being a patient and loyal confident. He loved fashion and was a well-dressed gentleman. Although not licensed, Kenneth indeed was an incredible preacher and teacher. His family described him as being spoiled; although he was, he made sure that all in his touch was spoiled as well. He loved watching sports, especially football, and rooted for the teams that were winning at the time.

Kenneth was preceded in death along, with his parents, by a brother, Ulysses Jones and sister, Lillian Jones.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving  memories  to his wife of  years Christina Jones of the home; daughters, Cassondra Jones of Spartanburg, SC and Alindria (Reginald) Jones- Matthews of Bloomfield Hills, MI; sons, Reo  Langster and  Christopher Tyler both of Spartanburg, SC; sisters,  Barbara Meriweather and Dianne Young both of Detroit, MI; brother, Eric (Jennifer) Jones of Detroit, MI; grandchildren,  Andre Jones, Corey Jones, Cia`la  Jones, Amaris Tyler, Alijah Matthews and  Alayla Matthews ; great- grandchildren, Carter Jones and Cash Jones;  a host of other relatives and friends

On the morning of Saturday, May 20, 2023, Kenneth transitioned peacefully with his family at his side. His larger-than-life personality, impeccable style and loving heart will genuinely be miss and cherished.
