Kenneth Cohen

Kenneth Cohen was born on October 21, 1965, in Spartanburg, SC, to the late Teresa Yvonne Melbro Cohen and the late Charles Everette Cohen. He was educated in the Spartanburg County School District and worked faithfully as a warehouse forklift driver for many years.

Kenneth was an outgoing, warm spirited man who never met a stranger. He found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially thrifting, fishing, and spending time at the flea market. He enjoyed watching westerns and comedy shows, and his love for the Tennessee Titans was undeniable. A devoted fan through every season, he proudly supported his team and often wore his favorite colors, blue and black. Above all, Kenneth was a faithful and devoted member of Foster Chapel Baptist Church, where his love for God was evident in his life.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Lucille Cohen; his brother, Vincent Cohen; and his sister, Gwendolyn Drummond.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his devoted wife, Juanita Cohen of the home; his children, Shaunita Kennedy of Taylors, SC, Shante' Kennedy of Union, SC, Victoria Kennedy of Spartanburg, SC, Alisa Pearson of Greenville, SC, and Kobie Johnson of Boiling Springs, SC; his sisters, Deborah Rickett and Dianne Smith, both of Spartanburg, SC; his brother, Johnathan Cohen of Spartanburg, SC; his aunts, Robin Moore and Judy Miller, both of Boiling Springs, SC; his uncles, Roger (Almetra) Cohen of Roebuck, SC, Thomas (Ann) Cohen of Spartanburg, SC, and Douglas Cohen of Spartanburg, SC; 17 beloved grandchildren; 2 cherished great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

On Monday, June 8, 2026, Kenneth peacefully transitioned at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, surrounded by the love of those who cared for him. Though his earthly journey has ended, the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
