June Denise Cheeks, affectionately known as "Prissy," was born December 4, 1969, in Spartanburg, SC to the late George June Copeland and the late Frances Louise Lipscomb Copeland. She was educated in Spartanburg County Schools and graduated from Spartanburg High School.

June will be remembered for her spunk, her kindness, love for God, husband, her children, and grandchildren. She had confidence that was unmatched. She will also be remembered for asking "Jimmy why you being so loud"? June will be missed but forever loved. Finally, "How bout them boys"?

June leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to her loving husband Jimmy Cheeks; children, Benjamin "Pookie" (Ivana) Brown, Courtney Simpson, Paige Frost,  Anthony Cheeks, and  Jim'mika Cheeks; siblings, Frances (RV) Brown, Carl Webster, Bradley Webster, Gary Copeland, and Morris Webster; grandchildren, DèMarkus Frost, Karma Brown, Jeremiah Frost, Jersè Foster, Eric Foster, Benjamin Brown, Willow Miller, Brooklyn Brown, Journee McDuffie, Honest McDuffie, Amari' Cheeks, and Kamarrion Cheeks; furbaby, Tink Tink; and a host of other relatives and friends.

June transitioned peacefully on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at the Lifepath Hospice, in Tampa, FL.
