Julius Faye McClintock was born on August 27, 1944, to the late Trustee George and the late Mrs. Eva Glenn-McClintock in Spartanburg County. He attended the public schools of Spartanburg County. Mr. McClintock was formerly employed by The Houston Brothers and Allegiance Industries.
Julius was a loving and caring individual, who loved his nieces and nephews and most recently joined them for dinner on a weekly basis. He loved his family and friends.
Julius was preceded in death along his parents by his wife, Hattie Mae Johnson-Tracey, a sister, Dottiecee McClintock, and stepdaughter, Martha Switzer.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his daughters, Shemeka Young-Shippy and Angela Sandra; son, James Scurry; grandchildren, Zia Young, Kay'ron Ashe, and DaShawn Jeter; sisters, Mrs. Shirley McClintock-Green and Rev. Yvonne McClintock-Moates; stepchildren, Patricia Reid, Kay Tracey, Michael Anthony Tracy, Roosevelt "Tree" Tracy, Kitty Tracy, Teresa Tracy, Mary (Alex) Brock, and Linda (Steve) Burnside.
On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Julius entered rest. He will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
