IN LOVING MEMORY OF

Johnny O'

Brannon Norman

July 12, 1980 – September 6, 2022

Obituary

The life symphony of Johnny O'Brannon Norman began in Greenwood, SC on July 12, 1980; composed by the late Mr. Johnny Cade Norman and Mrs. Cathy Ann Norman. His melody developed in Greenwood County Schools; He was employed as the Minister of Music with the Holden's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Boiling Springs, SC and owner of Namron Production Company.

Brannon was a man of great statue with a heart even greater. He was loved by many because he loved many; This earned him the nickname "Thick Love". He was an avid fan of the ACC's Miami Hurricanes and the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. Brannon loved to travel, and his musical talent awarded him the opportunity to do just that both across the nation and internationally sharing his gifts as; producer, composer, artist, musical director, and engineer with over 75 groups and churches. Brannon had an unquenchable passion for music, but it could not match his love for his family. Brannon will be remembered as an incredible son, beloved big brother, fun uncle, great nephew, cool cousin, dependable friend, and brilliant musician, but above all he was a child of God and born-again believer who always encouraged others to "LET THE LORD USE YA!"

Left to sway to the tune of his memories are his beloved mother, Cathy A. Norman of Greenwood, SC; sisters, April Norman and Nikyia (James) Lomax both of Greenwood, SC; brother, Greg Lee Norman of Greenwood, SC; grandparent, Willie Norman, Sr. of Elberton, GA; aunts, Lola (Kenneth) Wilburn of Marietta, GA, and Sara (Jerry) Samuel of Mauldin, SC; uncles, John (Linda) Lagroon of Greenwood, SC, Willie (Flo) Norman, Jr. of Covington, GA, Keith (Lucille) Norman of Woodstock, GA, Kenny Norman of Anderson, SC, and Stacey (Pam) Norman of Conyers, GA; a niece, Nylah Norman; nephews, Jeramiah Norman and Logan Norman; special companion, Ebony Durrah of Greenville, SC; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Sweet melodies lifted before Brannon, including his father, are his paternal grandmother, Ellen Norman; maternal grandmother, Josie Davis; and maternal grandfather, Tommy Lee Lagroon.

On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, Johnny O'Brannon Norman struck his final note on this side whereas he now makes melodies in heaven.
