Obituary

John Tracey Kelvin Washington, 50, was a native of the city of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia, PA.  John, affectionally known as "Diddy", was the son of the late Johnny Washington and the late Annie Lee Griffin Washington.  John attended college and for many years was employed in the plastic manufacturing industry

John's talents and passions were cooking and grilling delicious foods, his trophy awarded bowling skills, and playing pool. With a love for sports, he was partial to the Duke University Blue Devils NCAA basketball team and the Philadelphia Eagles NFL team.

To cherish his memories, John leaves four sons, Tray D. Washington of Easley, SC, John F. Washington of Columbia, SC, Kevin D. Washington of Spartanburg, SC, and Travious Washington of Greenville, SC; one sister, Robinette Griffin of Virginia; two brothers, Tyson Collins of Spartanburg, SC and Robert Washington of Clinton, SC; four grandchildren, Za'Kyria Washington, Faith Washington, Mia Washington, and Samuel Washington; a host other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two uncles, Ernest Griffin and Bill Griffin.

On August 4, 2021, John was called by the Lord to serve in His heavenly paradise.
