Mr. John Cornelius Foster, Sr. was born on May 7, 1947, to the late Jesse Foster and the late Minnie Lee Wallace in Spartanburg County. He was educated in the Spartanburg County School system. John was an automobile salesman for over twenty-five years. Selling cars was his passion and he thoroughly enjoyed being a salesperson.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his wife, Diana M. Foster of the home; daughter, Yvette Foster of Spartanburg, SC; sons, John C. Foster, Jr. and Brian C. Foster both of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Sara Ruth McCoy of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

On Saturday, March 5, 2022, John transitioned peacefully at his home. His legacy and life will live on in the memories of his family and friends.
