Ms. Jessica Michelle Rice entered rest on Sunday, February 2, 2025. A resident of Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of John Woodruff and Toni (Thomas) Davis. Jessica was a graduate of Spartanburg High School. She was employed at Takeuchi and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Jessica considered herself to be a homemade comedian and a jack of all trades. If it could be done, Jessica could do it. She showed this by going to school to be a dental hygienist and nail technician. As one friend posted " Im trying to figure out what special ingredients God made you with".

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Taniyah Wheeler; brother, Cedric Mack; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Eloise Woodruff.

Jessica is survived by her children, Tinsley Wheeler, Landon Hill, and Journee Shippy; siblings Lamar Rice, Holmes Simpson-Davis, Keon Rector, Thomas Woodruff, Ebany Miller, Maleisha (Terrel) Young, and Brittany Simpon-Davis; maternal grandparents, John and Elaine Rice; special friend, Keith Porter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jessica will be sorely missed by all who came in contact with her.
