Jerry Earl Glover was born, on May 23, 1962, to the late Robert Windell Glover and the late Faye Ann Nesbitt. He was educated in the Spartanburg County schools and a graduate of Chapman High School. He also received a certification in phlebotomy. He was previously employed with Alcoa as a machine operator.

He was a lover of all sports. Jerry was a music enthusiast and had an appreciation for all genres. He was very talkative and had a great sense of fashion. He had an endearing love for his nieces and nephews whom he treated as his own. He was a Carolina Panthers fan and his favorite color was purple.

He was married to the late David Mize who was his loving and devoted companion.

Those who remain include his brothers, Freddie Glover of Spartanburg, SC and Wayne Glover of Moore, SC; sisters, Dianne Glover of Moore, SC and Jannie Glover of Inman, SC; and host of nieces and nephews.

Jerry's life came to a close on January 23, 2025, at his home. He will be missed greatly by his family and friends.
