James William Nesbitt was born to the late Carrie and the late James Nesbitt, on March 3, 1940, in Inman, SC.  He was educated in Spartanburg County schools and was an automobile mechanic by trade.

James was a humble soul and talented guitarist, and for many years he served on the music ministry at Greater Bible Way Tabernacle Miracle Temple, playing the guitar.

James leaves to cherish loving memories to his daughters, Barbara B. Nesbitt and Angela Nesbitt of the home; sons, James William (Lisa) Nesbitt, Jr. of Inman, SC and Tyrone William Nesbitt of Spartanburg, SC; a sister, Lucy Nesbitt of Inman, SC; grandchildren, Richard De'Angelo Wheeler, Adrian Nesbitt, and Michelle Nesbitt; and a host of other relatives and friends.

James was preceded in death along with his parents, by his beloved wife, Mary Letha Nesbitt.

On Thursday, September 29, 2022, James William Nesbitt peacefully entered eternal rest.
