James William Moore, Jr. was born on August 25, 1965, to Mary Ella McClenningham Moore and the late James Moore, Sr. in Lincolnton NC. He matriculated education in the Rock Hill School system and graduated from Rock Hill High School. He later furthered his education at Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas.  James was a loving husband, son, father, brother, and grandfather. James was also an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching his team play football.

He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories to his loving and devoted wife, Maria Moore of the home; mother, Mary Moore of Sharon, SC; daughters, Queontra Thorne of Gastonia, NC and Karrisa Wylie of York, SC; sons, Specialist Joshua Thomas Brice of Wahiawa, HA and Tellas Wylie of the home; brothers, Dorsha (Charlene) Moore and James (Wanda) Canty both of Rock Hill, SC; sisters, Angie Canty of Chester, SC and Lisa Youngblood of Patterson, NJ; godson, Brandon Scruggs; mother and father-in-law, Odell and Bessie Brown; sisters-in-law, Ashley Brown and Romona Brown;  brother-in-law, Odell Brown, Jr.; devoted niece, Aisha Moore;  beloved grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Jerome Moore, Sr.

One Wednesday March 9, 2022, James folded his earthly tent and received his well done. He can now rest from his labor.
