Hiraben Keshabi Patel was born, on February 19, 1931, to the late Jyoitaram R. Patel and the late Kankuba J. Patel in Jasalpur Mehasan, India.

Hiraben was a domestic engineer and had a very calm spirit. She never complained and was extremely hard working and helpful. Hiraben was an excellent cook and her favorite color was blue. She was of the Hindu faith.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Babulal (Diwaliben) Patel and Rasiklal (Renukaben) Patel; daughters, Kailashben (Grovindlal) Patel, Madnuben (Sankalchund) Patel, and Bhagavatiben (Bhogilal) Patel; brothers, Mamilal (Gangabem) Patel, Chumilal (Tarabem) Patel, and Chamamlal (Unmarrid) Patel; sisters, Chanchibem (Manilal) Patel; ten grandchildren; and host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Hiraben transitioned on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. May she rest in peace.
