A Beautiful Life

Georgia Della Crittenden, affectionately known as "Tinky", was born on January 8, 1960, to the late George Adams and the late Annie lee Crittenden in Ozark Alabama.  She was educated in Spartanburg County schools and a 1978 graduate of Spartanburg High School. She continued her education at Spartanburg Technical College.

Georgia was an overall great person with a loving personality. She loved her children and grandchildren immensely. Georgia was a Baltimore Ravens fan, and her favorite color was purple. She was a member of the Southern Girls Social Club.

Georgia was preceded in death, along with her parents, by brother, Norman Green; sister, Theresa Adams; son, Alex Paul; and great-granddaughter, Londyn Leola.

Left to cherish her loving spirit are daughter, Zulekha Crittenden of Chesnee, SC; sons, Mark (Jamie Finger) Crittenden and Patrick Miller; brothers, George Crittenden and David Adams both of Spartanburg, SC; sisters, Patricia (Myles) Younger of Chesnee, SC, Adele Jones of Duncan, SC, Ida Crittenden of Spartanburg, SC,  Catherine (Rick) Jones of Spartanburg, SC and Pearl McCullough of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Taiykiya Smith, Aleiyha Critteden and Kandice Crittenden; great-grandchildren,  Skylar Nova Crittenden and Paris Kai Franklin; lifelong friend, Sam Miller; best friend, Renee Byrd; special friend, Norma Finger; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Wednesday, December 13, 2023 Georgia transitioned at the Spartanburg Medical Center. Her loving spirit will be sorely missed.
