Gayle (Gail) Antoinette Switzer, 46, a native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, was the daughter of Mr. Sammy Lee Woodruff (Vickie) and the late Ms. Jo Anne Switzer. She was employed in Assisted Living Healthcare.

Gayle had a deep love for family, was very energetic, shared her great sense of humor with everyone, was partial to pink, an avid fan of the Care Bears, enjoyed bowling and Charlie Wilson was her favorite R&B artist. She was affectionately known as "Jab."

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to one son, Dondrequez Lamar Woodruff of Greenville, SC; one god daughter, La'Rahyla Byrd of Spartanburg, SC; a fiancé, Richard Thomas of Spartanburg, SC; four sisters, Marilyn Foster of Spartanburg, SC, Mitzi (Anteria) Drummond and Robin Rice, both of Woodruff, SC and Monica (Antonio) Anderson of Greenville, SC; two brothers, Sammie Ellis of Spartanburg, SC and Brandon Woodruff of Greer,SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gayle was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Annie Willie Thompson and Williemae Woodruff; two grandfathers, James Switzer and Mack Woodruff.

On August 12, 2021, our Father called Gayle to the other side of the rainbow where she will rest in His peace forever.
