Fred Doulgas Bryant was born, on February 8, 1949, to the late Celestine Bryant Reed and the late Spencer Rogers, in Spartanburg, SC. He was educated in the Spartanburg County schools. Fred had an easy-going demeanor and was extremely friendly. He loved to crack jokes and was very helpful.

He was preceded in death, along with his parents, by brothers, Terry Reed and Clyde Reid.

Left to cherish his fond and loving memories are brothers, Bobby Bryant, Curtis V. (Elizabeth) Reed and Nathaniel (Betty) Reid all of Spartanburg, SC; aunt, Sara Bryant of Spartanburg, SC; friends and caregivers, Mark and Pamela Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On the evening of Monday, August 19, 2024, Fred transitioned at his home. He kind spirit will forever be cherished by his family and friends.
