A Beautiful Life

Erica Shaquil Wright was born, on May 15, 1991 to John E. and Shelinda Wright, in Spartanburg, SC. She was educated in Spartanburg County schools and was a 2009 graduate of Paul E. Dorman High School. She continued her education at Palmetto School of Career Development and received her dental assistant certification.  Erica was an insurance agent with Sitel.

Erica was owner and operator of Giltz & Glam by Erica, a print and design company, specializing in apparel and more. She was a jokester at heart and was known for practical jokes and humor.  Her favorite movies were Matilda, Kingdom Come, and Crooklyn. Erica loved music and Fantasia was her favorite artist.

Her favorite color was purple and she was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Ethel L. Tabb and Dorothy L Wright; uncles, Ronald J. Wright, Fletcher Wright, Willie Paul Wright, and John M. Wright and aunts, Bessie L. Hopkins and Mary Wright.

She leaves a lifetime of love and memories to cherish to parents, John E. and Shelinda Wright of Spartanburg, SC: sister, Eboni E. Wright of Spartanburg, SC; fiancé, Zach Miller of Spartanburg, SC; aunts, Jocelyn Tabb of Birmingham, AL, Antoinette Wright of Brooklyn, NY, Rhonda Wright of Brooklyn, NY, Fay Dean Stevens of Spartanburg, SC, Faye (Ignatius) Francois of Hazelton, PA, Etta Martin of  Birmingham, AL, and Carol Wright of Brooklyn, NY; uncles, Reginald Tabb of Birmingham, AL and Kenneth (Janice) Wright of  Spartanburg, SC; service dog, Harlie Chanel Wright; goddaughter, Kinsley N. Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.

On Saturday, February 10, 2023 Erica's short but impactful life came to a close. Her jovial and comedic spirit will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
