Elder Leslie Loud, Jr. was born to the late Mary Lou Jackson Loud and the late Leslie Loud, Sr. in Omaha, Nebraska, on August 17, 1948.  He was a high school graduate and continued his education at a technical school.

Elder Loud found Christ at an early age and used this gift to preach to others.  He was fond of live broadcasts from Facebook.  Singing was his passion. Elder Loud spent a lot of his free time at nursing homes singing and ministering to senior citizens.

Those left to cherish loving memories are a son, Cortez Pickney-Loud of Omaha, Nebraska; step-sons, Lamonee Jackson, Jr. and Camrion Pickney both of Omaha, Nebraska, sister, Janie Marie Lennen of Omaha, Nebraska; aunt, Lena Jackson of Stillwater, Oklahoma; nieces, Marcia Patrese Loud and Dimitrii Blackwell both of Omaha, Nebraska; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Elder Leslie Loud, Jr. heard the Lord's call on January 29, 2022, to enter the gates where he will continue to sing songs of Zion and praise the God of his redemption forevermore.
