Donnie Dean Fowler was born on January 7, 1978, in Spartanburg, SC, to Donnie Foster and the late Cathy Deloris Fowler. Educated in Spartanburg County Schools, he graduated from Spartanburg High School and pursued a career as a music technician, specializing in amplifiers and electronics.

A man of generosity and warmth, Donnie welcomed others with open arms, often extending a helping hand to those in need. Family was a cornerstone of his life, serving as a father figure to many. Known for a great sense of humor, love for good food, and an eye for stylish shoes, he brought joy to those around him. Action and drama movies were a favorite pastime, and as a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, game days were always a highlight. Green stood out as a personal favorite color.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Cathy Deloris Fowler; sister, Tori Alexis Scott; stepfather, Bobby Burdine; uncle, Truman Hughes; and aunt, Carolyn Hughes.

Cherishing his memory are children, Jayquavion Fowler and Jakoya (Ashlyn Brown) Fowler, both of Spartanburg, SC; stepmother, Marie Fowler of Union, SC; aunts, Joyce Jones, May H. Bell, Ruby M. Davis, JoAnn Tucker, Deneather Fowler, Roby Colbert, and Monica Harris; stepbrothers, Monzell Lanzot, Isiah D. Porter, and Robert D. Thomas; niece, Toriyana A. Hughes-Fowler; special friend, Taliea Hall; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

On Monday, March 17, 2025, Donnie passed away at Spartanburg Medical Center. His presence, love, and laughter will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
